of the Aquarian Age. 'Amphora' is the old name in astrology for the sign
of Aquarius.

My early issues of Amphoran stamps were printed in limited editions of 100.

The Chalice of the Goddess

The book, 'The Chalice and the Blade,' by Riane Eisler influenced many
people back in the 1980's. Ms. Eisler created the concept of a 'partnership
society' where men and women would work in harmony. Her book outlined
the depredations of invasions by patriarchal tribal groups, who disturbed
an idyllic agrarain matriarchy in Eastern Europe.

The 'Chalice' was taken as a symbol of the womb concept.

This stamp is a tribute to the Eternal Feminine.

Figurative Ceramic Sculpture Utilizing Earth Paints

The sculpture on this stamp was created in the 1990's, here in
Northern California. I used paints made from raw natural earths
to color the piece.

Lore of the Celtic Sea Rabbits
AN IMAGINATION ABOUT GEARR THE CELTIC HARE

My very first post on Art Blog Eric Whollem dealt with the folklore of the
Celtic mermaids, the Selkies of legend. I spoke of 'The Rabbit Man of the
Sea,' who I designated as Gearr.

Gearr is a symbol of Intuition and Abundance. He is the Celtic Hare. As
a 'shape shifter' the hare is a form of the 'selkie,' which means 'shifter'
in the old Celtic language. Selkies are said to take on the form of any
animal of land or of sea, trees, rocks or humans. As such they are symbols
of metempsychosis, an exemplify the process of metamorphosis, as is
usually spoken of with reference to the transformations of a butterfly
from a chysalis to full winged maturity.

THE DRAGONFLY AND THE HARE

The dragonfly is one of the chief shifters, and is able to move quickly
from one dimension to another. Gearr is said to have similar abilities.

FANTASY POSTAL ISSUES FROM A MERMAID NATION

The micronation of Undinia has it's postal administration housed
at the Wharfside Post Office in Nereidia, on the coast of Undinia.
This land based office was necessitated by the need to keep stamp
sheets dry until used by the mermaid population for their mail.

Stamp Duty As Conceived by the Royal Undinian Navy
FANTASY STAMPS FROM A MERMAID MICRONATION

The Undinians take their postal system very seriously as you
can see here. 'Stamp Duty' is parcel of daily life in Undinia, where
the mail system relies on the Navy for delivery services. This is
because most of the population of Undinia lives underwater, being
a nation of mermaids and mermen.

A Map of the Lost Continent of Lemuria

Numerous maps of Lemuria have been made over the years.
A computer image search will provide the viewer with many
examples.

My map, which appears on this faux postage stamp from
Lemuria, differs from many of the maps mentioned above in
that it concentrates on only a small portion of Lemuria, that
section that is centered in the Mount Shasta area of Northern
California.

A Cinderella Stamp From Lemuria With a Map of a Portion of Eastern Lemuria in What is Now Northern California Near Mt. Shasta

About 50,000 years ago the first Native Americans entered the
continent of North America. It is said that they crossed the Bering
Straits near Alaska along what may have been a temporary
geological land bridge.

Esoteric theories about the Lost Continent of Lemuria relate that
Lemuria sank--either through volcanic activity or earthquakes about
50,000 years ago.

Was the migration from Asia to America a migration of peoples from
Lemuria?

An Imaginative Reconstruction of the Lore of the
Lost Continent of Lemuria
MT. SHASTA FOLKLORE

The concept of the Sylph was first created by the alchemist,
Paracelsus. The concept has been modified over the years to
represent a form of fairy life, that of the 'air spirits,' though
some thinkers on the subject of fairies relate the Sylphs to
mental or 'fire spirits.'

AN ENVIRONMENTAL MESSAGE FROM THE FAIRIES

Preserving our pollinators for future generations on earth is the
hope of us all, or should be. Many species of bees and butterflies and
other natural pollinators are gravely endangered today by pesticides,
fungus, and possibly even microwaves or other electronic technology.

Saving Our Pollinators

This stamp shown here in enlarged format reveals the mystery of
the petunia. The fairies have a special interest in preserving the
pollinators of the planet, as their homes are made beautiful by
the petunia and other flowers. Humans have a more material
interest in pollination, as without pollinators they would no
longer have food to eat.
