SCARABEUS BINKEL'S VOYAGE TO THE BARBARU  COAST

• SCARABEUS BINKEL, renowned expert in the stamps of the Barbaru Coast, writes: 'When I first landed in Barbaru, I was tired and exhausted from a long journey at sea. The fogs had lead me into dangerous reefs. But the folk of Attulio soon came to my aid and provided me with grog and ship's biscuits. Despite the age of the biscuits my parrot was most pleased to share my repast. So I named the bay where we landed Binkel's Bay. Of course, a wise sea farer always names his parrot after himself to preserve modesty. '

  
  

Binkel developed a unique innovation: sending mail by parrot. Thus the Barbaru Parrot Post was born.

Barbaru was an uncharted region in the east of the continent of Amphora, before Binkel took it upon himself to explore the region. LOL.
