NOTES ON THE CULTURAL AND POLITICAL DIVISIONS OF THE ISLE OF BUTO
The Isle of Buto has at least three main cultural regions: Buttoni in the north, where Templetown or Templetooni is the national capital to Butuni or Butunia in the southwest, home of migrant tribes from the western seas, to Butto in the southeast, a rebellious region that instituted the Loco Post Rebellion against the central government.
Butuni soon joined Butto in it's rebellion against the Buttonians. There was outcry in the southern provinces that postal rates were too high. Thus a series of 'postage undue' stamps were created to give rebates to postal customers.
The Boobie Courier services found in the Isle of Buto are also characterized by regional operations.
Blythe's Boobie Courier Post from Butto was the first historically. The semi-postals you see here are from Butuni.
To confuse matters even more, there are alternative spellings of many of these regional names. It is a matter for the specialist. LOL.
