GOOSE COURIER MAIL FROM AMORPHAGOS
Off the southern coast of Amorphagos, the Isle of the God of Dreams, there is an inconspicuous rock in the ocean. This rock is called Goose Rock, the home of great flocks of Geese.
These geese were trained in the art of mail delivery by the folk of Amorphagos. The covers seen here are first flight covers, some of them showing maps of the routes taken by the geese postal delivery birds. Most of these covers are addressed to the Kingdom of Delphys, a large island country to the west of Amorphagos.
The stamps of Amorphagos are usually inscribed in the Cyrillic alphabet. Seen on these regular issues of Amorphagos are relics of the ancient ceramic art of the island. The stamps of Delphys seen on these covers similarly depict an ancient ceramic amulet from Delphys.
ADDENDUM
(These ceramic items are, of course, in actuality the contemporary works of myself, Eric Whollem, the author of this blog. LOL).
(The photos of the Geese were taken by myself as well. The maps are my own creations. These are all faux postage stamp creations...contemporary paraphilatelic art, here manifest in a type of digital collage art, insofar as everything you see here is cybernetic illusionism, including the cancellations. LOL).
