The Fairy Queen of the Tale of Tall Timber

TIMBERLINA

And that old Rainbeetle told this tale:

Having been born from a spring in a cleft of mossy granite, a little fairy princess grew up in the high mountains, among the streams and boulder-strewn meadowlands.

She harbored a love for the hum of the insects of the woodlands.
She loved the cicadas, who chirrupped in the summer.
She loved the butterflies of spring and the moths of winter.
She was Timberlina, the Fairy Queen of the Tale of Tall Timber.

Her prayer is that there is a  golden wind that will aid in saving the butterflies and all the insect friends of the fairies.
And that gossamer dust will rain gently over the factories and the fields.

RAINBEETLE'S LAMENT

For a time of tribulation has come to the insects. Strange poisons have ruined their foods.
Other afflictions have made them sick. If they get sick we also get sick, because we need them to pollinate our crops. Only people can help the fairies in this work. Good  people.
The annual dance of the Fays would not be complete without the magical music of the winged ones.
