VOLCANIC PUMICE FROM MT. SHASTA
ON A CERAMIC GODDESS SCULPTURE

This stamp from the micronation of Amphora depicts
a sculpture of Laxmi (Lakshmi) that I created in the
1990's.

The pink volcanic pumice from Shasta symbolizes
bhakti, or divine love.

Laxmi is the Hindu Goddess of Fortune. She is
variously described as the consort of Brahma,
the Creator, or of Dattatreya, etc.

The serpents in the stamp's border design are
symbols of Kundalini Yoga.
