CYBERMAIL ART FROM THE MOON

The Republic of the Moon began developing Time Travel in the year 2215. :) They called their machine the Warp Facilitator. Unfortunately due to the fact that their astronaut (Warponaught) Aelurus came into contact with Pappy Pete's flintlock firearm, a relic from ancient history on earth, he inadvertently became tainted with archaic bear DNA from the bear grease used to keep the relic in working order.

To make a long story short, Aelurus was transformed into a bear on the Time Travel Mission. Because of this, Pappy Pete lost his job as security guard at the Warp Facilitator, and was demoted to a job at the Moonton Zoo, feeding the bears. Aelurus was assigned to cage 42. Pappy loaned Aelurus his antique 1952 Remington typewriter, so he could write his memoirs, and also send out mail, etc.

Aelurus wrote this letter to the National Warponaughtic and Space Administration Payroll Division, as somehow they had forgotten to pay him his severance pay. This letter was sent at the Zoomorphic Rate, a boon to Aelurus. This is much cheaper than the Non-profit  Organization postal rate on the Moon.

Quantus Qwo, Warponaughtic Associate, and Postmaster General of the Moon, remarks: 'Though Aelurus's accomplishments in Time are now delimited by his transformation into a werebear, he now has an honorary position at the Moonton Zoo, as a chief attraction. He is very happy now as all the children of the Moon love his tricks and how he speaks such perfect Loonese.'

LOL

CYBERMAIL

Cybermail Art differs from 'Mail Art' in that it is entirely computer generated. Mail Art traditionally is mail sent through the physical mail. Mail Art is a popular genre for many stamp enthusiasts.

Everything on this cover is digital: the stamp, the cancellation, etc.
