The Dakinis of the Lake

These stamps show two views of Shambhala Nor, the mystic
lake of the north. This lake is the home of the Dakinis of
Shambhala.*

A Dakini is referred to as a 'sky walker.' They appear in the
lore of Tibet and Mongolia.

A Dakini can be a meditational divinity, a guru, or a protector.
Corresponding to the female Dakini is the male Daka.
