THE WRECK OF THE FALCONER

In the year 1767 Captain Wollard Eggerton's ship, The Falconer, was lost at sea on the rough coast of Tebu Island far in the north of Undinia. The enterprising sailors managed to survive on oysters and fish for many years until they sent a long boat across the teacherous Bight of Wump to the Undinian coast where in the town of Heti they began to trade with the local population at what was called the Mermaid Market.

There they were able to trade wood carvings, scrimshaw and rope sculptures for foods and supplies they needed on the island. As time passed, they developed a postal system, which still endures today.
These stamps are a sample of the postal productions of the descendants of Eggerton's crew.
