THE DISCOVERY OF THE BUNGO RIVER REGION

It was in 1846 that Captain Rodney's ship sank of the southern coast of West Merreminde. The intrepid captain lead his crew and passengers from the benighted vessel up the Bungo River into the jungles of the interior.

A year later we saw a new colony arise, named Aerpshire, named for Lord Aerp, who had unfortunately passed away due to tropical malaise. He was a favorite among the passengers, known for his excellence at canasta,

Soon postage stamps apppeared. The first issues were crude woodblocks without perforations. But in subsequent years perforated stamps were the rule.

The colony seems to have disappeared from the human record by the year 1850. No explanations are found for how the colony was erased from history.
