A BOOBIE BIRD COURIER SERVICE

The land of Buttoni, or Buto, as it is commonly called has developed an innovation in mail delivery. The world has seen pigeon posts in countries like New Zealand in the 19th century and in Britain where Herm Island was authorized to allow pigeons to deliver the mails.

Puffins are commonly seen on local post stamps, such as stamps from the Isle of Lundy, but the puffins never actually delivered the mail. But in Buttoni, an island kingdom in the Sea of Varuna, off the coast of the continent of Amphora, boobies, an endangered bird, have been given the honor of mail delivery like their pigeon cousins. LOL

BLYTHE'S BOOBIE POST

Operating out of Blondell Heights in southern Buttoni, Blythe has allowed her Boobie Birds to unionize, having created the International Boobie Couriers Union.

These stamps are semi-official issues of the Buto government, whose capital is in Templetown in the north of Buto. The price of a regular delivery is 2 bits. Blythe's boobies operate primarily in the region of Amphora, but also deliver mail to lands in other dimensions. The boobies are well known for having delivered mails to and from Lemuria. And many retiring boobies, finding Lemuria a favorable and attractive land have settled on the shores of Tule Lake in Northern Lemuria. LOL
