A LETTER FROM DREAM BEAR TO USBUKI
Netdim Pano means Dream Bear. Here he sends a letter by the Mooretown Provisional Dream Courier Express. Maidem Kodom, the Country of the People, has an active postal service on the Inner Planes of dream and vision.
Dream Bear was going to a lot of Indian dances in his dreams, so he though it was time to write to Usbuki for advice. Usbuki lives in a cave behind the waterfall on Fall River. His cave is a postal substation of the Maidem Kodom postal service. Usbuki ,properly an inhabitant of the Moon, here on earth is an active deputy of the Postmaster General of Maidem Kodom.
Be careful what you read on the Internet. Some of what you see is nonsense. Here you will read the deepest secrets of the Maidem. LOL

THE KANAKAS OF JACKASS CROSSING
A lot of South Sea Islanders came up into the Sierra Nevada Mountains back in Gold Rush days. They were called Kanakas. Up on Mooretown Ridge, the main village of the Kanakas was near Kanaka Peak, a small volcanic mountain that rises up out of the ridge. The Kanakas set up one of their Tiki gods on top of that mountain. But when they moved away, the idol was taken to a ranch in Forbestown.
A lot of Kanakas lived down deep in the canyon where the Middle Fork of the Feather River runs. A trail down to their village site is called Jackass Crossing. They used to use a lot of mules. Many of the Kanakas marrried into the local folk on the ridge in the old days.
Here Kanaka Jim writes to the people at the Hemeni on the road out behind the old dump just west of town, or what used to be town, when there still was Feather Falls Village, that old logging camp.

A LETTER FROM ADAM TO GOD
Kuksu is the Maidu Adam. He was born not far from Hudli up on Table Mountain. He was made of mud fashioned by Wonomi, the World Maker.
Wonomi dwells in the highest heaven at Histayami, called today the Sutter Buttes. This heaven is called Kakinimkodom.
This letter is sent by Kakinim Courier Mail. The Mooretown Provisional Post Office offers three types of mail delivery. Ghost Mail is the regular rate. If you want things to get there a little faster you send it by Dream Courier. But if you want it there the fastest way...just try Kakinim Courier. A little more expensive. But it is the best way to write to the shakers and movers of the world. LOL
The above letter passed through the Opatoni Substation. This is how the folks in the old days pronounced Ophir Town. Today called Oroville.
