Insect Spirit Guides in Native American Medicine

Dragonfly is a being that can travel interdimensionally. They can see what others
cannot see. They can travel from the material world into the astral plane.

When Moth comes to you it is a sign that you are chasing something might hurt
you. It gives a warning. On the positive side no matter how dark it is you will
always continue towards the light.

Butterfly Medicine is similar to Swan Medicine. It is beloved by all. The butterfly
is like a flying flower. It means that you are transforming into something beautiful.

Worms are the reason for everything growing. Gardeners have Worm Medicine.
Rich fertile soil is given to us by the worm. The worm may not be that good
looking, but it benefits us all immensely.

Beetles have magic. Beetle Medicine has great power and mystery. The beetles
have prophetic energy.

(I have the text of an unfinished novel, Rainbeetle, that  goes into great depth on
beetle magic. I began this book in 1973).

In Egypt the Scarab was chief among gods.

These notes were inspired by talks with my muse, who follows the subject
of Native American medicine.
