LAKE OF THE HEART
The pinnacles of Castle Crags contain the oldest geological
rock in California. It is ancient granite.
The ridge above Lake of the Heart provides panoramic views
of Mt. Shasta and Castle Crags. It is a natural manadala.
These stamps include photos taken by the artist.
SOME TECHNIQUES OF STAMP DESIGN
The borders of many of my stamps are designed on an antique 1980's word
processor print master program. It does not print in color. The color was made
by printing in black on colored paper stock. The borders were then assembled
by collage with the photo elements or art graphics or photographic renditions
of ceramic sculptures by myself.
